It might help if you said whether it had the WXGA or WXGA+ LCD.

$400ish? Usually the WXGA+ models are most in demand, but the Ultrabase+Windows 7+extra battery add a good amount of value.

I'd say 300-400 bucks tops.

Hi morphine,

The machine itself is nice! I'm pretty sure the X200s machines with 1280x800 have CCFL LCD's, as opposed to LED ones on the WXGA+ models. Due to this, they actually are not much lighter than a stock X200 or X201-they don't use that special carbon fiber lid (you can tell b/c the WXGA+ models don't have that horizontal line across the bottom lid of the machine). So in reality, it is only marginally lighter but with the advantage of better durability and the AFFS mod.

X200 ultrabase's run around $80 bare, and at least $100 with a DVD-RW drive. The batteries also can run you at least $30.

With the warranty out it drops the value some for sure, but lots of thinkpadders here can easily maintain their own machines!

I would agree with everybody else and say 300-400 tops.

Good luck with the sale!

Good evening,
this little x sure looks nice, I might be interested in it when/if I'll find a good new home for my T61 and T400. But for now it would be nice to know if it has CCFL or LED screen, maybe it would be worth research/clarify this? :)
