Which OS is on the T500 Recovery Partition

I recently got a T500 that was loaded with Windows 7 (and it's activated). There is a hidden partition on the drive as well. What I'd like to know is how can I tell what OS that hidden partition would install? Is there any way to look at the files in the partition and determine the OS that will be installed?

Do you mean installing of Linux/Unix in your system? In some system it is very hard to install other operating system. For this use sun virtual-box. It is one of the industry leading solution. To know more about this visit there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VirtualBox

I'm referring to the recovery partition that comes with Lenovo systems. I'd like to know how to determine which OS will be installed if I go through the Lenovo recovery process.

When I plug my machine model and type into the lenovo.com Support/Quick-Path, it shows the installed OS -- my T410i shows Windows 7 Pro 64 -- wouldn't that be the OS on the Hidden Recovery Partition?
