I've been tearing my hair out today. I'm trying to install the video drivers for my T410, which has the NVIDIA NVS 3100M. The Intel HD driver keeps having a problem, saying the following in device manager after installation:
When I don't install as administrator, I get a windows warning saying that the driver hasn't been signed, and would I like to continue. When I install as admin, I don't seem to get that warning. My normal user is an admin.Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
I've tried installing as administrator, tried uninstalling both NVIDIA and Intel drivers prior to installing, tried restarting 8 bazillion times, etc.
I'm thinking of trying to install the previous version of the optimus driver, but I can't find it online anywhere.
Any ideas?
thanks!
