14" widescreen R61's are one of my personal favorite ThinkPad models. They are only 1/8" thicker than a 14" widescreen T61 and the same width and depth. They also were offered with webcams and other great features. This one works perfectly and only has slight keyboard and palmrest shine. The LCD is bright and I can't see any defects or scratches at all. The hinges feel new. This model has the Intel integrated video chipset, so no worries about a failed GPU. The most recent version of Middleton's BIOS has already been installed. (I've popped in an SSD with Win7 in for testing - performance is great.)
