My T42(1400x1050) has a dead pixel that tends to be the majority color of other pixels on the same vertical line, but far away from it. For example, if the pixels around the dead pixels are white, other pixels on the same vertical line with it(but far away from it) are black, then the dead pixel will be black, vice versa. So it's hard to find the dead pixel when the LCD is covered by a same color.
That's the only dead pixel on my T42.
An Interesting Dead Pixel
