Looking for software to measure CPU temp

#1 Post by Bobroberto » Fri Jun 01, 2012 4:45 pm

It's getting hot in Tucson and I need a software to measure temp on T60 during summer use as I sometimes need it in the car. Cleaned fan and lubed shaft last winter after home renovation and found an amazing amount of crud in the exhaust vent. While computer has never shut down due to temp, the fan noise was noticeable.

Admin note: Edited subject line to read CPU unless you really wanted to know how hot your CUP is :)

I've been using Mobile Meter with my laptops. It's a small freeware program that doesn't require installation. Just unzip and click to run. Here is a download link if you're interested.......

TPFanControl is good. It will also display GPU and other temperatures.
