Right buttons not working on touchpad or keyboard: New Keybo

I got a new keyboard but the right buttons are not working on my touch pad or keyboard. I even went to the mouse settings and switched the left to the right cursor and it did not work. What can I do? COuld it be the way I installed they keyboard?
