***New T61 Bios Update released***

Just noticed that Lenovo has released a new bios update for the t61!

Thanks for the info, I wasn't expecting Lenovo to update the BIOS of such "old" models so I never checked their site again Seems the following was added

- Added support for the new Conexant audio chip.

Now I guess those that have installed Middleton's modded BIOS will need to re-apply it again after this upgrade, right?

No, Middleton doesn't deem it relevant enough to make a new BIOS.
Stick with what you have.
That was only some sound for the modem that is hardly used any more nowadays.

Can we be sure that nothing else was added?
I was a little puzzled by
"BIOS: BIOS version
ECP: Embedded Controller Program version
[Important] Important update
(New) New function or enhancement
(Fix) Correction to existing function"

I get a lot of errors pertaining to the embedded controller in event viewer.
Anyone tried flashing the new bios?
