A quick question about returning thinkpad...

#1 Post by cchsiao » Wed Apr 20, 2005 7:40 pm

I just got a new T43p yesterday from IBM. I found that there is a dead pixel in the center of the LCD, and would like to know if I can ask for a replacement. I mean, since it's still in 30 days "evaluation period", I can return it without any reason. However, how about if I wanna return it and get another one? Should I order it again or I can ask for a replacement from IBM.

Thanks for your help.

Depends on where you are in the world. Could you add your location to your profile?

In the United States, you can return for any reason within 30 days. You should just reorder.

Bummer about the dead pixel in the center of the screen. Dead ones aren't so bad at the edges, but they are pretty annoying in the center. Stuck ones are the worst :(
