Backpack for thinkpad

#1 Post by phat_mats » Wed Jun 16, 2004 9:49 am

I will be ordering my thinkpad very shortly and as I am going to be freshmen in college next year and using a bike to get around I would like a backpack to hold my computer safely along with some books and notes etc. I'd also be using it for travelling on the plane. The two links below are too a couple that I found but they differ in price by quite a bit. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these bakpacks or had any other suggestions for me? Thanks.

There is a thread listing a bunch of people's different bags
Just me but I think that brenthavens are a bit over priced I have seen a couple of them in person and they just don't do it for me.
IMO

thanks for your opinion, for that kind of money ($200 US) I think it should pretty much be perfect. I have been reading those other posts about bags but none are really backpack specific. Maybe there aren't a lot of people that use bakpacks here, someone out there must have a decent one!

Look into the Targus one. I believe the Deluxe, or whatever it is.

My X40 gets lost in there when I use it.
