t400 - warranty upgrade - question

Hi all

I've T400 on warranty (3months left) so i want to buy upgrade for this. Tell me please how it's work, in Poland i can't contact with anyone who know this. I've found 3yr warranty upgrade (73Y2662), so when i buy this my warranty will be extended by 3yrs?

How long was your original warranty?

I call to them, and they send me to official seller, 2days ago i've got information that i can buy next 3yr warranty, in my mind it's impossible. but seller tell me that he have emails from lenovo for this. I need to contact him again to solve this problem

No.

What you're looking for is a 5-year warranty upgrade which will give you a *total* of five years from date of purchase which is the maximum coverage any ThinkPad can have.

And I don't think they sell them in Europe. I think they only sell up to 4 years total there, but maybe it changed.

I can only upgrade this for max 4yrs and it cost more than this laptop
