How are you going to fit a 14 inch screen into a 12 inch machine?
X60 tablet 6363-P3U, 3GB ram, 128GB SanDisk Extreme SSD, SXGA+ screen, Intel 6300
T61 Frankenpad in 15 inch T60 body, UXGA LED-lit AFFS LCD, T9300, 6GB RAM, NVidia NVS140m, Intel 6205, 128GB Crucial M4 SSD, 1TB HGST HDD + eBay caddy in Ultrabay
701c butterfly, 75MHz 486DX4, 40MB ram, 1GB CF card

I would like to see this build. I kind of like modifications to thinkpads (or generally anything) that sound impossible and someone actually does it. Rock on! (I normally don't say that but I felt it)

Hiya John ;
yips am not teckie , but got this idea of adding a 'larger touch screen' IPAD LIKE FEEL to a laptops body
( thus the DELL touchpad screen ........... and maybe use the Dell body parts but use lenovo x230 table 'parts')

and actually found a guy down the road from you - in MA to do someof the 'handy work'.....
lots of tech things to sort out before I GET TO PLAY !!

so will see what arrives > and how it works out !

Cheers

Even if you got it to work somehow that screen is shipping via "ePacket delivery from China." Most of the non-genuine things I have bought from China haven't been that great. I would never buy a replacement screen from China... And one other thing: It says "touch digitiser" but mentions nothing about Wacom pen input, so don't expect to use the pen...
