ThinkVantage button

#1 Post by lord051 » Sat Jun 16, 2012 11:00 am

Hy,

i previously had WIN Vista on my R61i, i formatted my computer and installed WIN 7 32bit, everything is OK and working, except ThinkVantage button. Can you tell me what i need to do to make it work, i tried many thing that i read on forums, but there was no help for me. When i press ThinkVantage button nothing happens.

And i also have Rescue and Recovery program, i created a backup. When i start my computer first scrren is ThinVantage screen, and a wont when i press it to launch Rescue and recovery, is that possible? Before formatting i had that option.

Thank you.

If you want it to function after the OS is booted up, you need this.

I wouldn't bother honestly, it doesn't do much and it's basically preloaded bloatware.

Did you remove the recovery partition when you formatted? If you did that button will no longer function in that way.
