Thinkpad tablet 3g in india

Hi,
This is Soham form India. I want to buy Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 16gb Wi-Fi and 3g. But no online site in India provide me that specification. My relative is a citizen of Australia. If he buy it from lenovo store and personally ships that to me then can i use the 3g network here? My question is that Australian 3g product will work in India? Am i be able to use the 3g network? Please help me with this information.

yips , as long as HE/SHE orders the "telsra' version of 3g .... which is 'international 3g/4g complaint... Aust = dont have CDMA version of any 'phone or tablet wireless' ..... they were made obsolute in 2000!!

all lenovo tablets = open ie unocked SIM anways !.... might be cheaper for u to buy via net from SG/MY re-supplier of lenovo
Most of these etailers are pretty relaiable and truth worthy ( sorry cannt recommend any) ,,,,
