If these are the real thing (which I doubt) that's not a bad price for a brand new QXGA panel at all...

When these were sort-of-plentiful five years ago we used to pay $300-350 for them...

QXGA on taobao and remailer that I used . It will cost about $250 with all comissions and shipping. There are alot of interesting stuff for thinkpads on taobao.

But you will have to flash EDID for it to work. I'll make a separate post with instructions on how to do it on Linux.
