Since either my LCD screen or the inverter was dying, I decided to replace my entire T60 lid. The lid I bought came from eBay from a reputable seller.
I just installed the lid tonight, and now the activity lights won't turn on with the new monitor. Not the Wifi, not the AC adapter, nothing. Other than that the monitor appears to be working fine, even the little thinklight turns on fine. I'm actually using it right now.
Note that the activity lights were working fine before, even when the stock dying screen/lid was still attached the laptop. I had the machine hooked up to an external monitor while I was waiting for the replacement lid and the activity lights were working fine the entire time.
Also, this lid is from a later T60 than my model. Mine was one of the last T60s with the IBM branding...this one has the Lenovo logo next to the T60 logo but still says "IBM" on the top part of the lid. Not sure if this lid is a "frankenlid" or what. Additionally, this lid has an indicator light for bluetooth whereas my laptop has no bluetooth capabilities whatsoever. I don't know if that would affect how the indicator lights work or not.
At any rate, is there any way to fix the indicator lights?
Did I get a bad lid/monitor?
Thanks.

That sounds like an inverter problem. You could put your old inverter in there instead.
The BT symbol on the clearplate means that possibly you now have a BT module in the lid, behind the bezel, left of the LCD cable.
There's also probably an item with a "!" in Device Manager, which would be the BT.
Install the BT driver and enjoy it if it now works.

Scroll down to "Bluetooth and Modem".

Real Black,
I'm pretty sure my old inverter is dead, which is what lead me to replace the entire lid assembly in the first place. See here:

If the eBay seller sold me a monitor with an inverter issue I'm not too happy...the last thing I want is for this replacement lid to crap out on me at any moment.
Any other possibilities to what might be causing the problem? Wifi and the screen itself appear to be working fine.

Try reseating the LCD cable onto the motherboard.
