Win7 re-install probs on T30

Hi guys

Sorry to be a pain - but I'm stumped

First let me say; I know a lot of guys don't recommend win7 on T30s - but for the fairly simple tasks that I require I've found it to be just fine, having 2GBs ram helps too I've had it on a T30 2366 for a couple of years now and I'm perfectly satisfied with what it's capable of.

Anyway, something got corrupted and I decided to re-install a fresh copy, everything seems to be going swimmingly until it has to reboot during install, then it justs hangs with "Press any key to boot from cd or dvd" (gawd I wish they'd install from a USB stick!)

I've tried altering the boot sequence to no avail, but to be honest, it's that long ago that I installed it, that I've forgotten exactly how I did it.

Could it be my installation disc, something else?

Any tips, help greatly appreciated

Typical as soon as I post I find the answer to the problem; if I hit restart now instead of waiting for it to do it's own thing it works.

Glad you were able to fix it. Kinda of weird that it would not work the first time around. Must be something with the BIOS.

Yeah - was kinda odd, struggled for about 8 hours with, go so fed up decided to post here - and then bingo. I suspect the install disc, too happy to worry about it
