X31 with 3 batteries?

I have an X31 and X3 Mediaslice with 2 Standard Batteries (one on the X31, the other on the X3 battery holder underside).

Anyone know if it is possible to use an UltraBay 2000 battery in the X3 to achieve a 3 battery system?

According to what I read (don't remember where - probably on the forum) - the answer is no. The ultrabay and ultrabase (underside) batteries are mutually exclusive with a physical latch that locks when one is inserted, preventing the other from snapping into place.

That is correct. I still have one of these Mediaslice.
