windows 7 + bluetooth

#1 Post by yup » Wed Aug 29, 2012 5:21 am

I have a thinkpad T60. I had winxp and the bluetooth worked. I now installed win & and It doesn't exist, not in the device manager and nowhere else. Even when I try to install the drivers from the IBM website it says "please turn on the bluetooth device". I am assuming I am missing some kind of software?

also can anyone give me a list of the Thinkpad drivers that are worth installing, and those which aren't.

thanks!

Bluetooth drivers for ThinkPad T60 from the official Lenovo website:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloa ... D=DS013631

you can also go to the main T60 drivers page here:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail. ... MIGR-62928 , chose your system (Windows 7). I didn't install all of them, you basically need Chipset, Video, Sound, Bluetooth, Networking (Ethernet and Wireless LAN) and the power management utility.
If course there is some additional drivers like fingerprint, but install them only if you are going to use them.
