Specific problem: This is a pentium M and a biometric processor is showing up with a ? in the device manager.
I'd like to think I know a little bit about thinkpads but this has got me stumped. I can't get the driver I downloaded to work. Here is what I downloaded to the desktop.

I opened the executable off the desktop and a folder installed in my c drive directory that had all the other drivers I had previously installed. After I did that I tried updating the driver through the device manager by pointing to the folder that I installed. It doesnt give me the option of even searching the folder.
After that didnt work I went directly to the folder I installed on the c drive and double clicked on the setup icon and went through the guied installation process. Then on reboot I looked back at the device manager. Still not recognized...
This is the normal procedure I use to install all my drivers. Please let me know where I am going wrong. Thanks in advance!
