T400s replacement battery?

Just curious if anybody had success buying ebay replacement batteries for T400s? My concern is those on ebay (for under $20) are rated for 10.8V and 3400mAh, while original OEM is over 11V (don't remember exactly since using laptop now) and I think higher capacity. After 3yr of use and being plugged in to A/C most of the times, right now my battery is down to 1:30min once fully charged but honestly doesn't even last that long (I have max performance setting). I was just wondering if those ebay replacement ones work, and if anybody using one what is average running time on a full charge?

I generally advise against use of knock-off batteries. 99 percent of them are downright junk.

I believe that there's a well-kept genuine battery for that machine currently on sale by one of this forum's long-standing and definitely trustworthy members.

Good advice. Over the past two weeks I bought 2 batteries. One was a genuine one from Canadiandude with the rare Panasonic cells. Works as advertise and I stole it off of him for $50 shipped. Works perfect, very happy! Before I found this forum, I already ordered one from Ebay ($42 shipped). Manufactured date was 12-7-14, after 16 cycles it's down to 17% wear and when it reaches 20% my T61 goes for a very hard hibernation. As in jumping off a cliff type of off. I figured the genuine one is good for another 2 years while the Ebay one another 2 months.....maybe.

If you are lucky enough to be in the US contact TuuS. As for me thanks again to Canadiandude, what a great guy to deal with.
