this guy put on windows 7 and now i have no lenovo! hard disk backup is gone and rescue disks don't work (they say 'not present' or something).

it says 'intel thinkpad' at start then just goes into windows.

the only thing i see left is a folder with the fingerprint thing that i never used, and ultranav that now won't change the mouse etc.! control panel mouse says 'unable to connect to synaptics pointing device driver' and asks me if i want to uninstall it! i am afraid to click yes.

this is a ibm t60.

what should i do?? thanks.

windows 7 home premium service pack 1, 32 bit t2400

Goto this website, enter your machine info and load the Thinkvantage software and drivers. Start with Thinkpad Vantage update then use update to update the software. Win 7 have a pretty decent built-in backup software.

http://support.lenovo.com/en_CA/downloads/default.page?

Next time get another IT guy.
