some cd brands read, others don't

computer did not see ativa dvd-r disk

but then a tdk cd-r went real nice

Over the years, on various PCs, I've had the same experience. Lately, I've had good luck with Sony CDs/DVDs, although, with flash drives & external HDDs, I've not had as much need to burn CDs/DVDs any more.
