Need a fast 64gb sd card for my X61
Any suggestion, I will be using this btwn my Nikon L310 camera and the laptop. Thx.

Why bother? The SD slot in the X61 probably won't net you much difference after you go beyond Class 4 or 6.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: Need a fast 64gb sd card for my X61
The SD card slot on my X60 is very slow compared to an average USB card reader. It's probably not much faster on an X61.
Also, it's quite unlikely that the reader will even support a 64GB SDXC card.

Hi Y'all,
One reason to use a fast SD card is that some cameras require them to reach their fastest frame-rate shooting capabilities.
I don't know about the Nikon in question.
Hoodman and the Sandisk Extreme series cards have been consistently fast and reliable.
Thanks and good health, Weogo

Re: Need a fast 64gb sd card for my X61
I've been very happy with a SanDisk 64GB Extreme Pro SD Card (SDXC) - Class 1 UHS in my Nikon D5100. However, you'll need to use an external card reader with your X61. I have an X61s and the internal reader is not compatible with SDXC. If you want to use the internal reader you're limited to 32GB SDHC cards.
