Projecting Issue

#1 Post by smwangi » Tue Sep 25, 2012 9:24 am

hi guys,
i have a t420s and it has a problem projecting on a LCD TV
when i plug in the VGA cable it flickers then displays for a few seconds on the LCD projector then back on my laptop again for a few seconds. this goes on and on for as long as my cable is plugged in.
i have tried changing the display setting but that too doesn't seem to work.
Please somebody help.

It sounds a lot like a bad VGA cable or an insecure connection to me.

If it is the exact model, then you could troubleshoot by switching the hard drives. This will tell you whether or not you have a software/driver issue or if you have a hardware failure on the system board.
