Power adapter question.

#1 Post by arty_harvy » Sun Sep 30, 2012 9:59 am

Hey guys.
Just wondering if I should get a 135w adapter to use with the T61p in my signature.
I Run the X9000 at 3.2Ghz, and occasionally over clock the graphics. Any thoughts?

Unless you see the current 90w one overheating, I'd say that there's no need...

no need IMO, and I run CPU at 2.8GHz steady with 50%+ OC on the video side with 90W adapter just fine.

If you plan to get a W510/W520/W530 in the future; get the 135W. That way you can at least still use it.

Unless you have to take it with you all the time...
