T60 Active hard drive protection

#1 Post by codyrock2001 » Mon Oct 08, 2012 8:16 am

Hi,
I just reformatted my T60 running windows 7 I have not installed any lenovo drivers from the site and was wondering if the active hard drive protection was always on and controlled by the system board itself or whether you need the drivers loaded to get everything running right.
Thanks in advance!

APS is controlled by a driver unfortunately, so yes you do need to install it.
