T21 drive swap problem

#1 Post by Mike T » Wed Apr 27, 2005 6:45 am

This must be a common problem.
How do I load windows 98se to my T21.
When I load the boot disk in the A drive then swap the A drive for the CD drive i cant get any further as it did not recognize any CD drive in the system when booting.
Can any one help with a simple answer.

change the boot order for bootable devices....

You need to boot from the CD rather than from the A drive. to do this, you need to change the boot order that the machine uses.

You can typically do this by by hitting F11 as the machine boots ( while it is showing the IBM logo. ) You then select the CDROM as your boot device as the Windows 98SE cd rom is bootable. I am not sure if this is the case for a T21 but it should work.
