IBM Thinkpad 600X 00161 & 00163

I already change the battery for a new one but still send me to put a pass at the rigth side of a lock symbol, I have 3 oportunities and then shows a hand mining stop, I purchase this lap for my kid used in mexico and now I don't know what to do, sorry for my bad english and greetings for all you in this community.

I believe it's against forum rules to discuss methods of bypassing or "resetting a BIOS password for the ThinkPad 600X".

Of course I suspect that information is available elsewhere online if one were to use appropriate search terms...

You should ask the previous owner for the supervisor password.
Thinkpads: 390, 570, A20m 15", A20m 14", T22, T41, T41p and a lot more...
