Which combo has best OSX support/easiest to install?

#1 Post by EricMGB1974 » Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:36 am

Well, I have a copy of Snow Leopard on it's way and am ready to try to install it on one of my Thinkpads. I've looked over a number of different install methods and have settled on the tonymac iBoot + MultiBeast method. Out of these three machines, which would be the easiest install/most compatible? I have the choice of

1) X61s w/ Intel x3100 graphics and the 1024x768 screen
2) T61p w/ nVidia Quadro FX 570M graphics and the 1920x1200 screen
3) T60p w/ 512MB ATI Fire Mobility FireGL V5250 graphics and the 1600x1200 screen

I believe any of these will work, but want to know which will give me the most fully usable machine with least amount of headaches. This is my first attempt at this, so any advice or personal experience is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Eric

Now that there is uniform native backlight and dvi hotplug support i would say t60p with the v5200 NOT v5250 is the best one. but again im not a big tablet fan.
