New T43p - how to reinstall OS?

I just took delivery of a new T43p (2668-G7G). The first one in Sweden? Unfortunately it came with swedish Windows. What is the best way to change it to US english? I really like to keep all drivers and IBM-specific settings.

Three possibilies:

1. Try to get a copy of the recovery CDs/DVDs from forum members or Bill.
2. Ebay
3. WinXP CD plus IBM downloads.

IBM will not send you CDs other than of the original os.

This is the most expensive one. And he should NOT follow the guide, it will lead again to a swedish os.

Why is it expensive?
You need to download a CD image of the XP Pro CD. I thought the author linked to all the files you needed on there, but if not that is easily acquired (PM me for help there). Also, I do not see how that will restore the Swedish OS. You are only copying the IBM tools and files. I believe even that is just a precaution, as you can download every single driver and IBM app off their website, and in English!

Expensive, because winxp pro is about 200 USD. Download a CD image? Where? With a file sharing software? I thought we talk about legal means.

Yes, I did not only read the guide but performed all steps as well. It restores the swedish OS because the data in the i386 folder are swedish.
