Following an unexplained short in my X301 DC connector I'm looking for a new DC connector.

From the HMM: DC-in cable FRU 44C4045
Marked on the part 93P4580

Sad about your x301, I’m a big fan. My fourth, a project machine, arrives Sat.

Hard to believe that the jack itself caused the short and not something further down on the MB or even the AC adapter.
But changing the jack is certainly the place to start.

I’ve used this seller a number of times with no problems – ordered an x301 memory door cover from him a few days ago.
