T410 and Access Connections

#1 Post by Ormu » Thu Oct 18, 2012 3:46 pm

Almost two years ago I updated Access Connections on my T410 running Windows 7 but it caused some problems. I was no longer able to see the WiFi (AGN 6200) and WWAN (Gobi 2000) devices in the Fn+F5 menu so I downgraded it back to the old version (5.62 I think...) which I'm still using. It has some bugs, however, and I'd like to finally update it to the latest version. But is it now working properly? Downgrading requires Windows system restore which I don't want to do unless it's absolutely necessary so I'd like to hear other users' experiences first.

My Win7 Pro x64 T410 has Access Connections ver 5.85 (which I installed on 12/09/2011) and I have been using it with no problems. I have the Ultimate-N 6300 AGN and Bluetooth installed.

The wireless radio & Bluetooth radio both show up in the Fn+F5 window and allows me to switch either one ON or OFF.

My T410 does not have a WWAN adapter.

Ok, I finally installed the latest version (5.97) and it seems to work well. It has some nice new features as well. Thanks for help.
