Stop Wireless connection drops - PowerSaver

Is ther a way to prevent the wireless connection from dropping when the display auto shuts off (power save) or even when connected to outlet?

Sometimes I transfer large files & powersaver mode kicks in if I leave it while the d'load is happening thus causing the wireless connection to drop & there goes the d'load.

Using XP Pro SP2

If all your shutting off is the display (NOT going into standby) it shouldn't happen.
