Hello

Am I right in assuming that the connector on the bottom of a W500 looks different from that of a W510?

I am not asking whether I can use a W520 or W510 in a W500 dock - that has been asked to death on the internet and the answer is always "No, because the power supply requirement is higher for the newer models".

I am asking if the connector on the bottom is the same, or if they changed the layout between the W500 and the W510?

You could say I am asking if I can plug a W500 to a W510 dock?

You are correct. The connector changed between T500 and T510
