T530 Keyboard

#1 Post by mdclow » Sun Nov 04, 2012 11:59 am

I have replaced my T60 with a T530 and have been using the new machine for about six weeks. I am OK with the new island keys with only one problem. About 10 to 20% of the time I dont get my fingers on home row (the F & J raised - is not big enough) & I sometimes cant find the red TrackPoint (it is more recessed). Hopefully, this wil happen less as I spend more time with the machine.

I am using my T60 as a backup (about 10% of the time) and do not have much problem moving between keyboards. In a perfect world I would prefer the old style keyboard but I wanted USB 3.0 & 16GB RAM so I got the T530 rather than the T520.
