1.8" PATA ZIF to 2.5" SATA caddy usable in T42 main HDD-bay?

#1 Post by Joeminati » Wed Nov 07, 2012 10:33 am

I saw this auction on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/120927293652?ss ... 1423.l2649).

Was curious to know if the fit would fit the T42? I am familiar with the SATA but not PATA. The laptop is really slow and suspect that it is the hard drive that is failing.

Thanks.

Joe:

If you are interested in (or just wish to know about the options!) swapping your current, slow mechanical HDD in your T42 to a way faster drive, then I'd suggest you have a look at the sticky GUIDE: Make your T4x *FAST* by replacing the HDD with a SSD!
