Gotta love Lenovo

#1 Post by DaKKS » Thu Nov 08, 2012 1:29 pm

The backlight went out in my X201 yesterday around 10pm, opened a warranty claim an hour later. At 10am today, Lenovo calls me to inform me that an on-site repair has been scheduled for tomorrow afternoon and asks when its a good time for the technician to arrive.

It took Acer three weeks to even check my warranty claim and another two months to actually "fix" the computer. Took them two tries and six months, but eventually they got it sorted. Dell, lost my computer and couldn't find it for close to four week weeks plus another three weeks for repair. My EEE PC was serviced three times and no fault could be found despite the fact the the [censored] thing had such an acute case of coil whine that it sounded like a dying jetplane.

But Lenovo, they just send out a tech, no questions asked. Congratulations, you just got yourself a another lifetime customer... :thumbs-UP:

Good stuff, DaKKs. We had a similar experience with an old T43p of my wife's. No problems, and complete satisfaction was provided.
Well done Lenovo. :thumbs-UP:

7:40 pm and nobody has shown up. Looks like the intercom of doom has struck again... Nobody seems to be capable of operating that bloody thing.
