Express card eject lever

#1 Post by redsb3 » Thu Nov 08, 2012 8:07 pm

I picked up an above average X201t which was just what I was looking for. In trying everything out, the eject lever on the express card slot does not "pop" out like my other Thinkpads. Does a card need to be in the slot for the lever to work, or is it like every other Thinkpad I have owned where you depress the lever a bit, it springs out and then when you push it in there is resistance and it ejects the card. I need to know if I have to get it fixed before the warranty expires. Thank you.

Uhm, call lenovo and tell them to fix it? As for the mechanics. It should pop out and and work like any other thinkpad even without the card.

I have a similar issue, the express card doesn't pop out when I press the lever. It doesn't "lock" either, so its stuck in the eject position. Insanely annoying. Gonna ask the tech today to look at it.

Thank you for the reply. It just came back from depot service for a faulty touchpad, they replaced the entire palmrest. I just wasn't sure if it worked that way or not.
