T60 display problem

#1 Post by made.swasthika » Mon Nov 12, 2012 8:57 am

Hi Everyone,

I have a T60, Type 2008-EQ7 S/N L3-KG790 07/04, with ATI graphics. At first I almost certain that it has a defected graphic card, because the display is not displaying correctly. But now the screen just goes blank. The question is, how can I check whether the board is broken or the LCD is broken? And does anyone have any parts for it?

I have read something called the frankenpad, does my T60 can be use to build one if no other solution meet?

please advise. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum!

Try hooking up the machine to an external LCD and see where that gets you.

Good luck.
