How to burn recovery disks?

#1 Post by wkw » Wed Nov 14, 2012 9:01 am

Just got a T530, windows 8. Don't want windows 8.
How can I burn the factory restore recovery disks?
The only thing I can get is it to prompt me to put in a flash drive that is 8gb or larger.

Make sure you've checked the "copy recovery partition to recovery drive (something or rather)" box at the previous screen. You can make a recovery usb drive instead of having to burn ~7GB onto dvds

You are not able to burn recovery disks with Windows 8. You can only make a recovery-USB-stick.
