I feel slightly dudded - the L530 I bought for my wife has the new chiclet style keyboard, and the new key combo for ThinkLight is Fn + Spacebar, instead of the old FN + PageUp. However after researching the hardware Maintenance Manual the ThinkLight is not a feature of the L530, even though the symbol for it is printed on the spacebar. Disappointing considering it was on her old R series (which the L series is supposed to replace).
Does anyone know if there is a way to install/mod/activate the ThinkLight on the L530?
Cheers
Dan
ThinkLight on L530
Re: ThinkLight on L530
You can try to mod that, but it would be difficult.
Lenovo decided to left the Thinklight from the L-Series and also the backlight-keyboard (you can install a backlight-keyboard from T/W/X, but backlight itself won´t work).

Re: ThinkLight on L530
They got me on that with the x220t, too. They even listed ThinkLight on the Product Overview and Detailed Specs page and the symbol was there on the typical key, but you press the key combination, no ThinkLight!
