Re: broadcom BCM4313 for T500
Sorry, but that would be a no go. The ThinkPad T series have a BIOS whitelist where the only models of wifi cards that will work are the ones that were originally offered on the ThinkPads. To get that card to work in you T500, you would need to get the hardware id of the card and then either have your BIOS hacked or hack your BIOS yourself to add that card to the whitelist.kerenbanget69 wrote:Hello Guys..

As long as you are familiar with the process of flashing your BIOS, there is no negative impact. If you are good at following directions, then you have nothing to worry about. If you skip steps in the process, you could ruin your motherboard. Talk to the folks at BIOS Mods on MDL. They have a requests section where they will do it for you. I had someone over there do it for me for free. The person never asked for money, but I sent them $15 on paypal anyway because I was so appreciative. I told whoever it was to get a 12 pack of beer on me.kerenbanget69 wrote: now, how can i hack the BIOS? Is it something will be have a negative impact to my T500 ?

I found this article in thinkpad community, here, in Indonesia. They not reccommend hackin BIOS. They recommend Tapping PIN 20.
