T420 Memory Max

Hi,
i want to ask if the T420 i5 2520m accept 16Go off memory, because i put it and works fine,
but sometimes a blue screen appears....so.....Thanks for given response quick

Yes, the T420 supports 16gb of RAM (see my signature below). I've been using it since I got mine in early March of this year with no issues and I use it heavily for multiple virtual machines, etc.

Did you run a memory tester like Memtest86 overnight to verify you don't have a bad stick of RAM? It's worthwhile to do, particularly if you are in your return period for the RAM you purchased. Good luck!

i didn't run any test, and now it doesn't work anymore, i think i must remove stick 8go and rerun

My ThinkPad T420 has 16 gigs of Patriot ram, which works fine.
