T430s with DisplayPort

I ordered a T430s a few months back and it's the best laptop I've owned. One thing has me worried though. I've been reading that the T430 with the i7 processor is the only one that comes with the DisplayPort. Mine is the i5 3320 and it comes with a DisplayPort. Is this a mistake? I haven't had the chance to use it so I don't know if it is funcitonal or not.

i7 with intel graphics is the only one with Thunderbolt, other T430s model just got the regular mini Displayport.
Current ThinkPad: T430u, T430s, X1 Carbon, X1, X230t, X220t, X230, X220, X201t, W520, W701ds, T500, T420 and many more
