Fan error

#1 Post by kengeo » Thu Nov 29, 2012 10:22 am

When turning my T23 on I get a bleeping & a message 'Fan error press F1 to setup'. Does this mean that the fan is not working? If so are replacements available? or is there another reason for this message.

Fan is not working, replace it (via eBay.co.uk , since shipping from the US is probably prohibitive).

I have seen this error when my fan was not bad. I had to tighten the screws holding down the heatsink so the fan contacts would make a better connection with the motherboard.
