the T9300 would be twice as fast as the CPU side of the E450, which is nothing to brag about.
the E450 GPU side is pretty decent - and would be couple of times faster than the Intel GPU in a T61 laptop, and about twice as fast as the nVidia 140M 64MB in its stock variant (14" laptop), and a bit faster than heavily overclocked 140M 64Mb (such as yours I believe). If you get the 140M in a 15" laptop then when heavily overclocked the 140M there could be about as fast as the E450 GPU side, but of course still slower in its stock variant.
if you want the T61p GPU comparison then the E450 GPU will be faster than the stock FX570 (14" laptop), but slower (thought not by much) if that one gets overclocked, as well as slower than the the stock FX570 in a 15" laptop.
I dont know if you can overclock the E450 though. Anyways, this should give you pretty good prospective of what you're getting.
