Been there, done that, got the t-shirt...

Short answer, no.

Long answer, technically yes. Most of the hardware supports 16gb, but it will be impossible to use 16gb because the CPU can only address 8GB. As long as you don't do anything outside BIOS it works like a charm. :lol:
