Z60t Bios Question
I picked up another t, that I can not seem to force into the BIOS screen.
I have powered on with everything installed
I have powered on with everything removed.
With AC no batt
On batt with no AC
On AC with batt
I yanked the CMOS batt
Pressed on many times with nothing connected.
I do get the 1331 without memory
BUT once I removed the CMOS battery, and pressed on.....it DID NOT default to not knowing the time and date!
When pressing the F1 button, it sates entering bios, and never goes further (tried for 15 mins)
What am I doing wrong?
Ron

I'm kind of in a worse boat with a recently purchased Z61p. All it does is beep 1-3-4-3 or 1-4-1-1; no video activity at all. I'm suspecting a bad BIOS or EC update but can't prove it.

Re: Z60t Bios Question
It never gets the the standard "Broadcom.........No bootable HDD found......" screen either.
Acts totaly normal, but then hangs. Wont go into Bios, Wont go into Recovery (Blue IBM button) wont boot to "No HDD found"
Weird, did the Google thing and came up with nothing. Picture shows a BIOS screen, though so Im hoping!
Maybe George can pull another out of his hat.
I did leave it alone "Going into BIOS" and "Normal Boot" for more than 1 hour each today...NaDa!

Re: Z60t Bios Question
Check that there is nothing 'alien' or broken/missing inside the USB and other ports.
The Z60 belongs to the T43 family, perhaps an overheating GPU?

Nope, USB's are all empty. Overheated GPU? Dont think it can happen in under 30 seconds.
Power on, hit F1, Entering BIOS.....Hung.
