Machine always starts in "Maximum Performance" T60p 2623-8YU
Every time I boot up my T60p it starts in the Maximum Performance power plan, regardless of what mode it was set to when I shut it down. I have all of the lenovo drivers and utilities installed and have tried changing it in Power Manager, the windows Power control panel, and even poking around in the BIOS. I don't have any power agendas set up in Power Manager. Any thoughts on why and how to fix?

i think if you go into bios / config / display, there is a brightness setting that could be on 'high' instead of normal? that setting forces the screen to stay bright if i am not mistaken.
better let someone else advise here.

My issue isn't screen brightness, it's mainly CPU speed and ATI PowerPlay.halfcard1 wrote:i think if you go into bios / config / display, there is a brightness setting that could be on 'high' instead of normal? that setting forces the screen to stay bright if i am not mistaken.
